Exactly,but sadly there seems to be no shortage of people who know much more than scientists and engineers from Blackstone and other labs who test oil and additives every day. If there was a benefit to aftermarket engine additives,the Blackstone guys would know and recommend it. Since they see no benefit to adding anything to oil or fluids, people would be wise to take their advice. Today's engine oils both conventional and synthetics already have all of the additives an engine would ever need, of course if people think they know better than the oil engineers and want to lighten their wallets,so be it.
