1995 Escort. dropped a valve seat. replaced the cylinder head and did a hack rebuild: bottle brush honed the cylinders. new pistons, rings, rod bearings. also went through the entire car and replaced: front wheel bearings, CV axles, ball joints, tie rod ends, struts, all calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors, drums, brake linings. water pump, timing kit, all hoses, a few seals. had the injectors cleaned. (thanks Trav!!) it runs really good; but the car is definitely a "time machine": crude, noisy, manual everything. it's my DD until I get daughter's car fixed, since she then stole my car.

Just gotta get with the time (as in back then).

Get a Satechi Sound Fly Aux and a CF card and load up your favorite late 1990's tunes (mp3's) and blast away down the road.

If the cars around you are tuned near your frequency, they can share too

You don't need no stinking sophistication
