MY 4 yr old Kirkland battery isn't holding a charge anymore. Went to Costco to price a new one and the current ones look different from the one in my car. My old one was made in the USA by I believe JC. The ones at the store have a slightly different case and are made in Spain...

The Costco batteries here (Silicon Valley, CA) are Interstate, which are top of the line.
They are green and white, if that helps.
I think they run $80.

Same here in Hawaii, they're Interstate batteries now. Interstate doesn't make them though, usually Johnson Controls or Exide makes them for Interstate and thus Costco.

I have a Duralast that I inherited also made in Spain, and it doesn't look like a JC battery. Was curious as well.
I've put it aside and keep it on a charger as a spare one for now.

There are also several contractors for Bosch in Spain. I couldn't find any verifiable leads.
