And it's a 15w40 synthetic blend with a Hastings filter.....
I only buy the synthetic 5W40 oil for my F250 that I have decided to use. Typically it's Rotella T6 5W40 but did stray with Delo 400 LE due to the CK-4 and Ford spec issues.
I just changed my oil at the 2nd OLM notification with only the filter changed at the first OLM notification. I did a UOA and mailed it. We will see how many OLM notifications I can go on the same oil.
And the vehicle was sprayed today with a oil based rust treatment.
I think with reasonable care of the engine the vehicle will rust out before the engine goes. I am trying to prevent that also.
