changed filter (Fram Ultra)

And, yes, it did get down to 5% in just 3661 miles due to city driving
 
friend of mine's 08 Nissan Versa

offbrand filter, can' remember the name, looked like a purolator build, an don't know what oil as he just bought it not to long ago.


Installed a Quakerstate L14612 that I had on the shelf and 4 quarts of Valvoline Conventional
 
09 sonata, 5w20 TSC travlers conventional, fram oil filter, replaced previous change which was also TSC oil.ran Usually try and change right at 5 K but time got away from me and went 6800 this time.

In - Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 Kia OEM Filter

I noticed a nice difference in the noise level on the PP. The click/engine is absolutely quieter, noticed by my wife even. I sent the oil in for a UOA as it was my first change after the Factory Fill and curious on how it's wearing.

In and on, PUP 5W-30 and a another TG 9018

2017 Chevy Impala 3.6 L

Out and off, Pennzoil Platinum D1-G2 and a Fram Ultra Guard XG10575

In PP D1-G2 and on another Fram Ultra XG10575.

2011 Toyota Tundra (new to me): Out--unknown oil, off brand filter than required me to crush the the thing with 3 different filter wrenches to remove. In: PUP-HM 5W-30, Toyota OEM filter.

2017 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins: Out-- Rotella T4 15W-40, Mopar filter. In-- Rotella T6 5W-40, Mopar filter. (dealer changing at the present).

after draining the Durablend and taking off the Bosch filter I installed the following.

3 quarts of Maxlife, 3 quarts of Napa Synthetic blend and half a quart of Valvoline Conventional, all 5w30

2015 STI

4.5 quarts of Motul 10w40 break-in oil, and Subaru oem filter.

It's a new built forged internals motor that's gonna have to handle high output.. so I'm going through some long break-in procedures. From now on, it will get Redline oil and probably Beck/Arnley filters (Tokyo-Roki).

10w30 Redline with Royal Purple filter out

5w30 Redline with a Royal Purple filter back.

Truck ticked slightly on the 10w30 redline, it is butter smooth on 5w30 redline, they are different base oils, 5w30 redline is hemi honey. Tried the 10w30 as Redline said there were no vii's, however it has 2 points lower hths, the engine tells me the difference.
