Alright, we red-blooded American Corvette fans, we don't think its a "mythical sportswoman". Not manly. Thats a muscle car, not Wonder Woman.
This is from the Chevrolet website for France:

Considering in French, "voiture" (which is the word for a car) is feminine.

So if all cars are considered feminine, the Corvette could be considered a "mythical sportswoman"

Also Corvette is feminine in french (the ship I mean)

How many Corvettes will GM sell in France this year?
A couple of dozen?
I'm surprised they bother to market the car at all.

Oh right, here is the original in French (before Google womanized it):

"la sportive mythique va rugir a nouveau" tranlates to "the legendary sports car will roar again" using Microsoft translater, not like the nutty ones at Google translater.
I guess there are alternatives:
Anyway, I like the Microsoft translation better.

If I recall my high school and college French from what seemed to be 100 years ago, car is feminine, la voiture.
