This is a C3 oil so TBN isn't going to be outstanding to begin with. Not sure why you're shedding so much iron in 6,000 miles but this might just be a characteristic of the engine. Trending over a period of time might define what is more along the lines of normal for this vehicle.

I have had better results with my X5 diesel with an E6 oil, Mobil Delvac 1 LE 5w30. Better TBN and Fe value. Much better still after EGR delete.
