Hello guys,

I eat the cooked rice for almost every meals when I was in my home.
It is the one of the most important ingredients for me.

I've tried many brands for the last several years and then I fall in love with the Japanese one, Kagayaki rice.
Unlike other rice brands there is no information of what breeds it is.

Does anyone know which breeds of the Kagayaki rice is?

Thanks,

Ryan.

We usually can get Jasmine pretty easy here in Oklahoma at the Asia district. When I was in Guam, Calrose was the staple.

Jasmine rice or bust.

The small one.

Kagayaki rice is a premium short grain rice. Most of us here in Hawaii eat/buy Calrose medium grain rice cause it's cheaper ($15/20 lbs vs. $27/4.4 lbs). Thai, Vietnamese and most Chinese restaurants serve Jasmine Rice.
