18' Corolla vs 18' Elantra

I've driven both, though both were 2017 models, but I liked the Corolla MUCH better. The ride in the Elantra just felt "cheap" to me, and the CVT in the Corolla made it a pure joy to drive. It's almost like that tranny knows what you're going to do before you do it. The Corolla seemed to be the overall better built car too...The Elantra is a bit nicer looking, but I thought the Corolla was much nicer in all other areas...

The one I drove felt just the opposite. It also had the 1.8 liter (like my "04 has), but the CVT made it feel much more responsive...I would take one with the CVT in a heartbeat!
