Drove my '82 Mercedes 300CD from central KY to the "Radwood" car show hosted at Gridlife South at Road Atlanta last weekend. About 350 mi. each way, I got 28 MPG on the way down but more like 25-26 on the way back because I had a trunk full of stuff - wheels, interior pieces, etc. - and was trying to run faster so as not to hold up the guy that followed me as far as I-40 before he headed toward STL in his sweet '95 E300 diesel (non-turbo OM606) with a 5-speed swap. Lots of cool stuff to see, and my first time watching professional drifting in person. There were several W201's and at least half a dozen W124's, but we were the only W123's and the only diesels.

Woops - guess that last pic didn't translate too well from my phone.

Really clean '85 Wagoneer, loaded V6 with only 80-some thousand miles.

Ha, I tried to re-solder the PC board on the tach amp to no avail, so I'm casually looking for a good amp. It wakes up occasionally, but I've driven the car enough before it quit working to know how it's revving. That's about 3,800-4,000 right there - the pump cuts fuel at 5,100.
