I get 18 mpg on average -- can be as economical as 21 mpg on highway or as bad as 5 mpg of "spirited" driving.

Premium gas so it is going to be quite painful if the attack on Iran materializes.

I get 24.5 mpg if it is ALL highway on my 2016 5.3 Tahoe. Average is 16. It goes to V4 mode when V8 is not needed. In my neck of the woods I am in a lot of gridlock. A/C is constantly on. All that is on 87 regular fuel. I use mostly Mobil fuel.

If I baby my Grand Marquis 4.6 2V in my sig, I can approach 25 MPG-but it has to be a flat road and no higher than 55 MPH, summer fuel, and cool weather with nearly no A/C use. Otherwise it's 20-22, which (IMO) is still pretty remarkable for a full size, full frame, V8 sedan,

In the Mountaineer in my sig, in town we usually average 13 mpg. My wife just took a highway trip, all highway, and reported 18. 19 is the best I've ever seen. Heavy vehicle and AWD are contributing factors, I think. My FIL has a 2003 Z06 'Vette and has said he can get 25+ on the highway, I'm guessing due to the 6-speed and light weight.

I average 20 give or take a mile or 2 per gallon in the 4.6 Mustang. The 5.0 Mustang averages 22. On the highway, the 4.6 gets 26 and the 5.0 gets 27.

It's amazing how far they've come from the 2V to the 5.0 Coyote. Some of the 3V engines had issues, though. I have one in my 2010 Mustang GT but since that is the last year maybe they got the issues worked out.

2001 Tundra 2WD - 16 to MAYBE 19... Call it 17 MPG.
1968 Corvette L36 Roadster - stock - dunno cus ODO busted.
1970 Corvette with CRR LS6 engine - 4 to 6 MPG.
