My sister bought this last week, and I was doing some maintenance on it for her.
I have to say, this is the worst cabin filter I have seen. I think it may be original - 10 years old.
It was a KIA brand filter. Dirt was so thick it looked like fur.
A closeup, and side-by-side with new filter.

I can get that after two years I think. Maybe one.

Last filter I pulled had the start of a mouse nest on it. I guess it got parked too much.

You should've gotten a charcoal filter though

How long do you plan on keeping the new filter in?

I spray some K&N red oil up there when I'm in the desert.

The evap coil on my model suburban is notorious for plugging up with junk. It is a pain to clean.

Since it is my sisters car, it will probably be in 10 years again.

She is about as smart as a string of dead fish....

Gotcha. One of the joys of getting older as a man.

I changed one on a friend's RX350 that had a completed nest, including 2/3 dead babies that were still pink.
