I have a small Fini electric air compressor.
Its 20 years old but has been serviced and is in great shape and does not use any oil between changes.
It is a simple piston style. During a move I lost the instruction book and would like sugestions for the best oil.

Nosmo, you might want to try people familiar with that brand.

If you are looking for air compressor lube info in general, try the "Industrial - Other" sub section. In it, do a search for "air compressor." There are a few relevant threads from weeks and months ago.

I have one of those simple one lung iron compressors. Manufactured by CAPO. It calls for 20 or 30 weight non-detergent oil changed twice per year.

I tested the compressor ( amp draw ) with the factory fill 30 wt and then some synthetic compressor oil from Ingersoll-Rand. Did not make any noticeable difference.

Once the synthetic oil is gone I will just follow the mfg suggestion and use the .72 cent a quart non-detergent and change it twice per year.

Maybe someone has your brand and can give specific advise.
