Truth be told, I'm surprised she was so candid about it. Anyone with half a brain could have figured it out just by looking at the demographics of the audience for the sessions HR held, but still.

My boss makes me feel like he's lucky to have me working for him (of course he is !) But it's a much better attitude than you usually get in a small community, where they are normally a bit smug, because they know you can't walk out and get another job across the road. Of course I did that too, but that's not how it is supposed to go.
