Hot Tea

I can't say I've come across any, unless that includes ordinary, bagged tea. That doesn't mean they're not here, but I generally stick to the tried and true loose leaf varieties I'm used to. Have you tried them?

I did a bit of browsing, and it seems that yes, they are designed to be cost effective. Here, iced tea is almost always powdered anyhow.

I know only one person who knows how to make real iced tea.

I use a mr coffee iced tea maker to make tea a liter at a time.

Works pretty well but I use cheap "family pack" tea bags.

Can't stand sweetened or pre-packaged iced tea mix. Its so gross.

My annual order came in from Stash the other day. This year was 3 lbs of Earl Grey, 2 lbs of Double Bergamot Earl Grey, and 1 lb each of English Breakfast and Super Irish Breakfast. There are no first flush darjeeling blacks in the catalog right now, which is unfortunate. Of course, as per usual, getting tea shipped from Oregon to me, even with exchange and shipping, is still half price of anything remotely local, be it a tea chain, grocer, or small independent.
