Sorry, but that's not a eutectic. "Eutectic" refers to a solidification or melting phenomenon, not condensation or vaporization.


I am also very sorry but I think when we are talking about freezeup of water-glycol mixtures we ARE talking about solidification or melting. Where are you coming from?

Oops, missed that one. I've only heard the term used in metallurgy and other materials the form a phase diagram.
 
Kestas, an easy mistake to make when our heads are in the crystalline growth at elevated temperatures, and heat treating etc.

This should make you more comfortable than the curve shown...

At least the taxis were never a problem. They never got shut off long enough, so we didn't have to be as cautious as we would with private vehicles.
