I agree.

In the Winter of '80-'81 I lived where we had 3 consecutive nights of -38 degrees Fahrenheit.
That's below the freezing point of 50/50 mixes of the day.
My car had no problem. I was driving a........Corvair!

The "degree Fahrenheit" symbol came through as a jumble of characters so I spelled it out.

At that point, does it just start to crystallize?

I can't see a solid freezing doing any favors.

*Never mind. Should've kept reading onto page 2.

This is what I use in my Fusion.. or close to it. Then again, here in Phoenix, I have never seen it dip below about 25F, so I could probably run a ratio of 90% water to 10% G05 and still be safe.

I don't, because you never know, and I like to go up to Flagstaff or Prescott in winter once every few years. Best to err on the side of caution. Next fill will probably be 60/40, since that still gets me very close.

Yeah.. not saying I WOULD go to 90/10, just saying that where I am, based on the temperatures, I COULD. In my mind, for Phoenix, either 60/40 or 55/45 would be just right for a 3-to-5 year fill.
