I worked with a guy who was invited to Kamen's house after a robotics meeting and said he had a locomotive engine in his foyer.
Also happened to play baseball against a guy who lived near Kamen at one time and claimed he moved away because Dean was truly a horrible neighbor, something about one of his little experiments at a far corner of his property making a lot of noise and keeping people awake at night...Dean couldn't have cared less.
Truly brilliant man, for sure.
