I right clicked your test pic to get the image info the copied it and entered into the image upload button ( 4th button from the left enter and image)

I have had boats for almost 40 years, although none have been pontoon boats. But I am puzzled as to why anybody would want to do that. ??? I could possibly see this for a relief cut for an outboard engine, but it would have to be on the bottom. Clue us in !!
 
So you've done 3 pontoons for the same person?

I am also curious as to why.

*Was it under any sort of pressure when you cut it open?

For whatever reason he wanted a third pontoon. The reason for the job was for motor clearance. I have to remember, the customer is almost always right. LOL!

Nice quality welds.


Thank you. I typically tig weld fuel tanks, pontoons, RV hot water tanks, etc. It's easier to see any imperfections while welding.
