So you know all these Walmart E-pack deals that come up every once and a while and nobody is able to get the order?

Well, I got one today.





I just ordered on a whim figuring it would get canceled, then the next day I get confirmation it has shipped, figured it was a 1 qt bottle.
Today, I received e-mail to pick it up, go to the online order kiosk pick up and it was in there.
Pretty banged up box, but 24 qts of oil for $4.58 total was there (~$0.19/qt).
I had said I was not going to buy any more PCMO, even resisted the getting paid to buy the Quaker State clearance at Advance Auto, and then this order ends up processing through.
I guess I know what I am using in my brother in laws truck for the next 3 oil changes.

It shows out of stock now, but just goes to show you never know.
This is the 5th time I have ordered one of these type things, and first time to actually get what I ordered.
Once I got a 5 qt jug instead, all the others were cancelled.

So while this deal is apparently dead, if you keep and eye on these e-pack deals and keep trying, you may end up getting some.

You got to wonder how this stuff makes it onto the website, and then an employee actually allows the order to go through.

Probably your every day employee who (not to he rude) just doesn't care. I know the site has a lot of problems with prices and they probably deal with it on a daily basis so the could just chock it up as letting the company eat the loss until they learn.

Or it could be mostly automated and the bots just do as there told with a few people here and there to make sure nothing crazy hasn't happened.

That GTX is good oil and at ~ 20 cents per qt., you can't go wrong.

When I first clicked on the link this morning, I saw three in stock. It's out of stock as I type so someone must have purchased what was available or it got pulled. The description points to one quart bottle weighing two pounds. Curious as to how many others will have such a nice score vs just getting one bottle!

Yeah, I figured I would be getting a 1 qt bottle if I got anything.
Like I said, I was very pleasantly surprised when they brought out a big shipping box, I knew it was more than a qt bottle.

My wife saw the box today and asked what it was, when I told her it is a 6 gallon bag of oil, she just rolled her eyes and walked away.

I need to use a few of my 5 qt jugs so I can put this in those instead.
I just tossed a gallon oil jug last week, not knowing I was going to get this.

Scored 2 ecopacks of QSAD 5w30 for $18 each earlier today - there was no earthly reason for them to be at the Walmart they were at and they were mislabeled as detergent, but they're mine now. I wasn't even looking for any deals, just happen to see the beat up boxes sitting on the shelf.

LOL.
Yeah, these e-packs are no supposed to be solde retail, much less out on the shelf, they are for the in store tire and lube centers.
$0.75/qt is not a bad price at all.
