Yesterday morning my cousin stopped by our local WM to buy a few boxes of 9mm ammo. While he was there he needed some oil for his 3 vehicles. He always uses PYB 5W30. When he got to the oil section there was an end display with a huge sign that read "ROLLBACK." All Pennzoil HM oils were $15.25 per 5qt. container. He said he had never seen it this low priced, and he thinks it was $19 or higher before. He wasn't sure. But, for that price he picked up 6-5 qt. containers. Is that an actual "ROLLBACK" and if so, from what price? shrug

Forget the oil. What 9mm ammo did he get?

Tulammo is good for the range fun. But I prefer Hornady or Federal for game time use.

If you notice the pennzoil hi mi is API SN only not resource conserving a thick variant
Quaker state hi mi is ILSAC GF5
Pennzoil hi mi now cheaper than QS hi mi
It used to be the other way around

Many Advance Auto stores still have QSUD jugs for $8.45 or quarts for $2.15 or so. Subtract off the manufac rebate for $7/jug = $1.45/jug. Limit 3 jugs per household.

The oil change houses just have to hate the good prices on oil this last month.

I'd be surprised if they even noticed the difference. Most of the people buying jugs of oil at an AAP, AZ, WM, etc are do it yourself-ers anyways. If I had to guess, I'd say less than 1-2% of the car driving population too advantage of the retail oil deals this past month.

If I remember right, normal price at walmart is about $17. Gold syn blend is $18.

Yeah as stated I believe it normally hovers around 17 bucks a jug that is a good price and a roll back.

PMC is my favorite target ammo, very high quality and a good price. Their defensive ammo offerings are very reliable functioning but their hollow points have not performed very well in most informal testing. But I have shot more PMC ball than any other brand the last few years simply great stuff.

PMC does make some fine ammo.

It's my fav ammo for 5.56/.223. Every PMAG I own is loaded up with PMC .223 55gr FMJ-BT's.

Hello KC, how you are? smile
I use SPEER LAWMAN FMJ for target practice, as well as MAGTEC. For home/personal defense all of my semi guns have HST ammo in them. My 2 revolvers have HYDRA-SHOK ammo in them. In my AR's, I shoot about 95%
WOLF Military Classic Steel Case Ammo and the rest is a mixture of several brands of brass ammo.
