Drove thru Concrete Dust

On the other hand , I have driven in sand storms where I could not see past the hood of the truck . Had to keep going , to stop was to risk getting rear ended . :-(
 
Here's a Phoenix dust storm. We get these all the time, like every week in the summer and we all drive through them.

I save the keystrokes for ranting or answers that require them. OP was kind enough to number his options so it only required 2 for an answer and he didn't request justification.

Seriously though, my lift trucks live in a perpetual dust storm of that, sand, and whatever else. I've seen the engines lug, and a pile of sand get shaken out of the cyclonic end of the filters.

None of them has less than 2500 hours on their engines.

The filter is doing it's job. Let it go.
