I have needed to replace timing chain / sprockets on only one car , in something like 50 years of driving .
That car was a 1966 Mercury Comet with 3 on the tree & 289 . Teen age years & trying to drive it like a hot rod , which it was not .
Our little Chevy Sonic 1.8l has a belt . Which is scheduled for replacement at something like 97,500 miles . :-(
I hope I am still able to do such tasks , when it comes around . To save money .
Thanks , Chevy . :-(
Otherwise , I like the little car . Although it is a little small for my Wife & I on road trips .
Thanks ,
