If you go to TFLcar's youtube channel, when they compared a BMW X3 to a RAV4 hybrid, you'll see the hybrid AWD system in action. One of the few cars, maybe the only AWD SUV that (I could remember) could not make it pass "Stage 2".

TFLcar likes the non-hybrid AWD system on the RAV4, and the Lexus RX, when they did there mashup comparing to the Allroad.
