I noticed that your first OC was a 5400 mile run but the car had 10K....did you buy it with 5K on the clock?
Also, I see you got the newer version of RP which has moly and boron.....prior to that RP had no moly or boron and a ton of sodium (like VSP).

If I had a 2.0 Ecoboost I'd probably try 0w40 when it was out of warranty....

I had the first oil change done by the dealer to make sure that I didn't have any issues or leaks since it was a new car. Plus I was about 1200 miles away from home at the time and I was under the impression that I needed to change my oil at 5k OCI. I've been converted following the Blackstone reports.

I liked RP but the price was too high. I ordered from Jegs and paid about $6-7 per quart. I've switched to MC FS and get it from RockAuto.com and pay about $3.81 per quart shipped. (I get the bag-in-a-box option).

What are the benefits of using 0W-40? I'm already out of warranty. I'm at 72k and I didn't go for the extended power train warranty.
