Valvoline did not want to get left out... so in addition to SOPUS, Mobil and other rebates available now, we have another $2/qt deal except I believe HD, blend and conventional oils are included also.
URL: https://team.valvoline.com/saveonvalvoline

Fine print: This offer is valid on purchases from July 1 - August 31, 2017. Limit one. Proof of purchase required. This offer is limited to the 50 United States. A Free Team Valvoline membership required. Program terms and conditions will apply.

My "referral link" for Team Valvoline:
https://team.valvoline.com/user/register?refer=5769

Or you can just go to team.valvoline.com and sign up which is a requirement to get the rebate. I can't find all T&C's of this deal but I've never had issues with Valvoline rebates.

Maxlife at $1.40/qt at Walmart (after rebate) is just too good to pass up:

Does the rebate come as a check or loaded on a debit card?

I've had 2 valvoline rebates before, and they both came as a check. I'll see about this one in 6-8 weeks.

Page opens for me and loads up just like it did before, no sign of the promo ending-states end date of 8/31/17.

Excellent. I had heard about the rebate, and did some searches to try and find the needed link, with no luck. What you provided worked perfectly. Thanks.

Bought Maxlife at OReillys, they have it on sale currently for a few weeks. Not quite as cheap as Walmart, but OReillys is much closer to where I live. And who really wants to go to Walmart unless its absolutely necessary?

+1

In my experience Valvoline promotions have either been a cash payout or a "toy" of some sort. I bet issuing a prepaid card is too much work/expense at $10.

Nice thing with this one is it is on any Valvoline.
Most rebates are tiered depending on what you get.

I would expect that they would honor a rebate with 5 single quart bottles, but the front of the promo page does say, "on any 5 quart jug of Valvoline motor oil." And when you move forward in the rebate process, their choices for what motor oil you bought, all say "5 quart jug."

I'd call them if this were an issue. Every other rebate I've seen clearly said a 5 quart jug, or 5 single quart bottles, so I can't imagine them turning you down, but they do not state that individual bottles are accepted. I'd call them.

Grabbed a 5qt bottle of full synthetic 0W20 VVL HM today. $24.97 - $10 rebate = $14.97 or $2.99 p/qt. Not bad considering what oil costs these days. Was going to go with the Pennzoil full syn HM again but saw this rebate and went that way instead.

UPDATE - I submitted a photo of my receipt on August 7. I received an email from Valvoline August 19 saying my submission was accepted, and to allow 6-8 weeks for the actual check to show up.

I had a note on my calendar that I should have received my $10 Valvoline rebate by today (9/6). The check was in the mailbox yesterday!

And yes, it was a check not a prepaid card.

Yup, they batch processed a bunch of submissions on 8/25 and then mailed them out-so with the holiday and different destinations they've mostly arrived over the last few days.

Is there a place on the internet that you can track the progress of your rebate for this?

There are also rebate tracker sites for Chevron and Mobil rebates. They usually link to them after submitting a rebate.

My submission was accepted! Purchased oil 8/19 and submitted for rebate, denied on 9/07, reprocessed 9/23 and received an email today that the submission was accepted. Now to wait for the check to mail!

My PP rebate, however, has been turned down twice. Then I changed my mind from PP 0W-20 to PPHM 5W-20 so I resubmitted. Then today I returned the PPHM 5W-20 because I wanted PPHM 0W-20. So now I have a submission to Pennzoil for PPHM 0W-20.

Finally got my check for a purchase of 1 Gallon Valvoline 15w-40 CK-4 + one quart of 10w-40 motorcycle oil.
Was worried it would be denied for not being a 5 quart jug
