Valvoline did not want to get left out... so in addition to SOPUS, Mobil and other rebates available now, we have another $2/qt deal except I believe HD, blend and conventional oils are included also.
URL: https://team.valvoline.com/saveonvalvoline

Fine print: This offer is valid on purchases from July 1 - August 31, 2017. Limit one. Proof of purchase required. This offer is limited to the 50 United States. A Free Team Valvoline membership required. Program terms and conditions will apply.

My "referral link" for Team Valvoline:
https://team.valvoline.com/user/register?refer=5769

Or you can just go to team.valvoline.com and sign up which is a requirement to get the rebate. I can't find all T&C's of this deal but I've never had issues with Valvoline rebates.

Maxlife at $1.40/qt at Walmart (after rebate) is just too good to pass up:

Does the rebate come as a check or loaded on a debit card?

I've had 2 valvoline rebates before, and they both came as a check. I'll see about this one in 6-8 weeks.

Page opens for me and loads up just like it did before, no sign of the promo ending-states end date of 8/31/17.

Excellent. I had heard about the rebate, and did some searches to try and find the needed link, with no luck. What you provided worked perfectly. Thanks.

Bought Maxlife at OReillys, they have it on sale currently for a few weeks. Not quite as cheap as Walmart, but OReillys is much closer to where I live. And who really wants to go to Walmart unless its absolutely necessary?

+1

In my experience Valvoline promotions have either been a cash payout or a "toy" of some sort. I bet issuing a prepaid card is too much work/expense at $10.

Nice thing with this one is it is on any Valvoline.
Most rebates are tiered depending on what you get.

I would expect that they would honor a rebate with 5 single quart bottles, but the front of the promo page does say, "on any 5 quart jug of Valvoline motor oil." And when you move forward in the rebate process, their choices for what motor oil you bought, all say "5 quart jug."

I'd call them if this were an issue. Every other rebate I've seen clearly said a 5 quart jug, or 5 single quart bottles, so I can't imagine them turning you down, but they do not state that individual bottles are accepted. I'd call them.
