Major repair before 100k I don't care what Consumer Reports says I wouldn't be buying another Toyota and I'd probably be badmouthing them every chance I get...

It didn't happen to me. If it came out of my own pocket, you know I'd be singing a different tune.
I'd be [censored] at ANY brand if my car dropped the transmission at 70K. I support the right to consumer rage!

I wonder if it was just a seal or something simple. I wouldn't replace a ok transmission due to a noise.
