My 1997 GMC Sierra's original key fobs are worn out. What is the best place to buy replacement fobs at? Should I stay with a factory fob or go aftermarket? Thanks gentlemen!

I have had great luck with aftermarket for the Xterra, Chevy HHR, and the last one a pair for the 99 Ford. The Xterra had to be dealer programmed to vehicle, the rest is just a series of turning the key on and off several times then activating the fob to get the vehicle to recognize.
I just searched my order history and the last pair was Yitamotor at Amazon

I just replaced one for the Traverse, Amazon for $12. I had no luck at Autozone; 3 different fobs which did not cross to the part number on the old one, but were listed for a 2010 Traverse. None of them could be programmed. The Amazon one did have the matching GM part number and worked perfectly.

Thanks gentlemen! Is there any specific brand to avoid? Also would like something that has some durability and longevity to it like the originals had. The dealer is extremely expensive unfortunately.
