OK, disclaimer. I'm a 20 year employee of General Motors and I do love the products that we build. That said, this weekend I was at the Michigan International Speedway and I saw this. The new Ford GT. I have to say that in my view the new GT looks amazing. Maybe even better than the Pagani Zonda. I do love the Cadillac ATS, CTS and Camaro that we build at my plant but this is just out of this world. Good Job Ford!

Why is that?

Probably wouldn't come with insurance bill equal to the price of the Vette

They are easier to get in and out of. I sat in the last model of the GT. When I have to go to the bath room I have to get there quick and have to get out of the vehicle as fast as possible at times. Well usually.

Understandable. But my post was made for the beauty of the lines of the car. I would assume that if one could afford the estimated MSRP of $450,000 USD they wouldn't be concerned with the insurance premium.

Looks much better in white! Not a fan of the black or those ugly red stripes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though.

And that Ford GT is nice too

Exactly!!

I don't recall there being any problems selling the last batch, either

It's my understanding that everyone Ford can build, there is a buyer waiting in the wings.

Beautiful car, great chassis.

Awesome lifting and lowering system.

I wish they would have chose to build a bespoke V8 for it.

THIS! Full of great engineering but a V6? No thanks...

The pressure from the EPA and CAFE can be intense. LOL!
