Last week did the truck.

This weekend did the Corolla.

2007 Lexus ES 350 30k miles (!!) bought 8 months ago with only 17 k miles on it.
out: Mobile One EP 5W30, Mobile One filter, run 10k miles.... filter looked like brand new, no oil usage.

Also had mechanic change out PCV valve. Consuming about .5 to .75 quarts per oci and hoping this can alleviate it. Old pcv had some crud on it but still rattled.

In: 5 qts. Castrol Magnatec 5w-20, PL20195 (bigger filter)
I tried the Magnatec; so far not much difference. It may be a tiny bit quieter.

Yes sir they are both from Warren Oil. Car seems nice and quiet so far. It is still quite early like less than 250 miles. But I like it quite good so far. I thought that mixing in a thirty grade would be all right for summer time. Truth be told this mix would be just fine until early December. I can get these oils from gas stations and the price is fairly reasonable.

In the dealership getting new transmission installed under warranty currently, noticed the leak on the garage floor after backing the Jeep out of the garage while changing the oil last weekend. Leaking at the seam where the engine bolts to transmission.
