I've met Chrisfix, he's a good mechanic and was eager to learn about oil stuff but is clearly an oil noobie.

I don't think there's anything wrong with his video other than a few bits of describing the UOA breakdown.

292k miles on the old 3.8L is fairly impressive, given their propensity to spring a leak, which this one CLEARLY has.

He can OCI a bit more frequently, perhaps every 3k miles, and milk it out a bit longer, but it's eventually going to fail in some grotesque manner.
