Fuel Dilution and Oil Filters

Not if you change the oil and filter as specified in your the cars owner's manual and use a high quality oil filter (i.e., OEM)

It would thin oil, reducing probability of bypass events and filter warping due to thick oil rushing through.

Filter manufacturers know fuel is presenting oil, and aware that some oils are petroleum based. The ones who care develop filtration media accordingly.

I've ran plain old Motorcraft FL-1A filters on old carbed cars with major fuel dilution, meaning that the filter media was immersed in maybe 10% gasoline for 2 to 3 years at a time. The filter was perfect.
