WIX 51036 cut open.

First thing I did back in March when I brought the Blazer home was change the oil. No idea on the oil or mileage.

It had a Valvoline oil change sticker in the window from June 2014. Would they have used a WIX? Not a clue. However, if all that is correct, the oil and filter only had 2500 miles on it. It doesn't show it in the photo, but it looked pretty bad when drained.

Dlundblad, It could have been owner supplied. Or the owner did another change after VIOC did. If all we see is some wavy pleats, then I would say the filter did it's job. 2500 miles over 3 years could translate to many short trips.
