I recall my father once leaving a coffee cup on the rear bumper of a vehicle. Drove something like 20 miles or more, including going over some train tracks. Was still there when he stopped.

The way my grandpa drove, he could've made it that far with a watermelon on the trunk. He was very, VERY soft on the accelerator and brake pedals.

Yeah how can you be so far out of it to not notice a guy 4 feet away from the door that you are entering, sleeping on the trunk.

I had a nightmare that was inspired by this news story. That nightmare was last night. I was sleeping on a sloped ledge that was at the end of a precipice. I had to cry for help for someone to pull me out. It was distressing.
