Mobil Delvac ESP 5w-40:Color diff b/t batchs/lots?

So how many 5w40 HDEOs out there still have some PAO? Schaeffer? Mystic? . . .

Schaeffer uses a 25% PAO and 75% Group III in their 5w40 full syn according to my Schaeffer rep. I know is a combination of the two, the amount of each was what he told me. But even their syn blend 15w40 and 10w30 HDEO's they use a 25% PAO and 75% Group II+.

When Chevron did their paper on the 5w-40s, they said their own was Group III+, Delvac 1 ESP 5w-40 was primarily PAO, and that Rotella had "some." Of course, this CK-4 reformulation made at least one of those conclusions obsolete.

I just had 3 gallons of TDT and one was the reddish color. I added it in and called it good.
