Ok so i know im probably splitting hairs but i want to use the best oil for my bike.

I have a 2017 suzuki m90 with 1500 miles on it. I used suzuki performance 4 and a suzuki filter for the first 600 miles and again till now. I wanted to change the oil and filter at 1500 to get last of breakin metal out of the system then switch to a good synthetic.

I used redline (mostly due to friends recommendations) in my previous bike but have been told by some that silkolene is better.

I know the people on here know alot about oil so thought id get some opinions.

Fyi the m90 is wet clutch and suzuki recommends 10w-40

I put 83,000 miles on a 1999 Suzuki VZ800 Marauder (The C50 replaced it)

I used nothing but cheap 15W-40 HDEO.... usually Super Tech.

Best oil has many things to consider in a bike. Does the motor share the sump with the clutch and tranny? If so, go off the Allison list for oils tested in off-road equipment with shared sumps. They are tough oils and that is what you need. They also do not harm clutch materials
