Isn't that really expensive? I can get name brand stuff for $12-13 at Walmart.

This is special coolant to specifically match Toyota OEM. I've paid $20 for this in the past, so this is a good deal.

This isn't a Dex-Cool clone like most of the stuff at Wally World.

Excellent price on an Asian PHOAT AF. Even though only pink linked, can pick from three other tints to match the Asian vehicle oem tint. The equivalent price of the usual premix, including the vehicle oem AF or Zerex AF would need to be ~$8/gal to equal this concentrate price. Plus if one wants to do a complete system flush/exchange, concentrate is the way to go.

Nice find.

What do you think shelf life is for coolant?

Valvoline typically lists the shelf life of each type of Zerex coolant on their PI sheets i.e. Asian 5 years. I use that info as my go-by.

I think that is going to vary by type of coolant. I contacted Peak years back about the dex stuff and was told two years sealed and one year after bottle had been open.

Thanks. I shouldn't be stocking up on coolant then.

The red long life is on sale too for $14.90, and would be just right for my 92 Toyota truck. I need a jug, and this would be a good deal, but there is no store near me.

https://www.pepboys.com/product/details/879901/00162

Found the red on their Ebay store. $17.67 shipped.

When it comes to PB OEM AF, it comes in four tints to match the OEM tint. However, all of them are the same and have same extended service interval as the newer vehicle oem premixes (Toyota SLL pink) and ZAF in red or blue. Main difference, comes in a concentrate.

Toyota says the LL red and SLL pink are completely compatible. So that would seem to indicate that the newer longer service interval AFs would work where Red was originally spec'd. I'd have no problem running the newer AF in the 01 Tacoma I own.

$17.67 shipped to you door for OEM brand concentrate, still good imo.
