Why no fram come filters?

They had a semi-universal cold* air kit a few years ago, called air hog.

OP meant to say "cone" filter in his subject line.

Air filters are about surface area for flow. 12" diameter by 3" high is minimum for real efficient airflow for a BBC spinning 6,500 RPM.

How big would that have to be in a "cone" configuration ...
 
I'd buy them if they made them. 4" outlet, 7" diameter, doesn't need to be cone shaped. If the pleats were deep to increase surface area. It would even fit in my stove pipe cold air intake.
