Did the VCG on my taurus this morning. The rear VCG was a pain to get lined up but easy to take off. The front was was easy 2. Calls for like 3.1hrs labor. I was done in a lil over 1.5. Also broke the egr back pressure sensor while taking the Plenum off. Parts stores wanted $70 for a new one. I said [censored] no and took a 25 min drive to the JY and got one 4 $6.41 plus $2 to get in the yard.

For almost 149k id say it looks good. Im running Pennzoil HM 5w30 in it right now.

You should've replaced the spark plugs and wires while you were in there, and used iridium

i did half a tune-up last month for the misfire. I got the other 3 plugs and wires in the trunk. I was gonna do them while i had it off but i had other plans i had 2 do today.

Looks like Ford reached into the files from about 1970 to design those rocker arms. My Cleveland 351 had arms built like that. Looks good OP.
