Oil was in use for 5304 miles and about 6 months. Oil in use was 2 quarts of Valvoline 10w40 Motorcycle oil and 3 quarts of Napa Synthetic 0w20. This oil change was all city driving / short trips/ sitting in slow traffic, with the exception of one round trip to Atlanta. Total hours of run time was 153hr 44min which breaks down into 118hr 51min moving and 34hr 53min of idle time. New oil/filter is Napa Gold 1348 with 5 quarts of Valvoline White Bottle SAE30.

Good report, thanks for posting it

That was actually another home blend oil. It was 2 quarts Valvoline MaxLife 10w40 1 quart of Valvoline DuraBlend 10w40 & 2 quarts of Napa Synthetic 0w20. The oil was mixed and shaken in a 5L jug of LiquiMoly 10w40 MOS2 that had a ton of molybdenum settled out on the bottom of the jug. Funny thing is the oil change previous to the high molybdenum UOA was theaactual LiquiMoly MOS2 straight from the 5L jug. Also of note this current UOA was also mixed in the same jug.

That jug seems to have a nice, long-lasting "residual effect"!

Apparently it's the oil jug that keeps on giving. I'm not sure that if an additive settles out so easily in the bottle how much good it does bit it seems to stay in suspension in use alright based on UOA showing molybdenum but I wouldn't buy it again.

Thanks friend! The truck is running well. No issues to report. About 400 miles on the current VWB SAE30 fill.
