What do you guys use under your couch to prevent it from sliding on wood floors?

a wall behind the couch.
kids banned from the area (like it works....:-( )
also a rug with non skid backing under the couch could work.
what color are your hardwood floors? make sure the non-skid material is not darkcolor or non-marking....

A wall obviously is the best, my floors are stone and it doesn't slide.

That's the problem our couches recline. Every time it moves and it almost chews through the sheet rock.

That's the problem our couches recline. Every time it moves and it almost chews through the sheet rock.

Search "non slip furniture pad" on Amazon.com. You'll get many choices. I've used the the following on a bed with rollers and they work well:

I use a couple pieces of cut 2x4's behind the reclining couch so that it is kept just off the wall.
