Qualify this oil

We have a cheap store around here that sells their own relabel brand of oil. People are always sceptical about it because of the price, around here a normal brand oil will cost you around 10-15 euro's per litre, this oil is only 3.50 euro per litre.

i did some research with the technical data sheet and i found that it was relabeled Ardeca oil, see below

First the cheap store brand 'Techno'

FULL SYNTHETIC 5W40

Does look thesame to me! How does that oil look to you guys? I think the VI, pourpoint ect look great.
 
WOW! At €3,50 per liter I might come and get some for myself.

Lol yes, that price is much better. I would probably try is for a short OCI and send it off for a UOA to see how well it held up.
 
Yes the price is good because normally oil is much more expensive here than in the US.

Might try it in the Alto next oil change.

None of those numbers will tell you how that oil will perform in regular OCI.
Also, first oil you listed up there: PORSCHE? Without any specifics? When oil company lists Porsche, and not Porsche A40 or C30, I would stay away from that oil. Actually, do not touch it

Ii agree, I was going to make similar comments. That's the same company brought up in another thread that didn't actually have certifications for their product, but did have "Nano Technology". Whoopee.
