Metal flakes in oil....normal or doomed? (Pics)

It would be interesting if someone with this issue had a microscope or something to really close in on these flakes or particles. Magnet would also help.

I'm not saying that. Any 30w could be substituted.

We all know what the 0w part is for, easier cold weather starts and lower pre-warmup emissions.

We all know what the 20W is for, higher CAFE.

What I AM saying is 0w-20 is part synthetic, innumerable UOA's has shown very little shear and wear metals, and the first gen of 5w-20 and 0w-20 Hondas and Toyotas are now clocking in at 300K miles, some are getting up to 500K.

All of which means your irrational fear of 20W's and begging the question on every thread is meaningless Internet noise.
