peel and stick emblems from the dealer- how apply

the one that goes on the body, thats real expensive from the dealer, and has the sticky already on the back , what do you do? just take a knife and peel off the film cover and stick it on the sheet metal? and hold for a minute?

You just... "peel and stick", like you said. You peel the plastic off the back and stick it on the car. Done.

No need for a knife. As said, just peel the plastic backing, align correctly and stick. No need to hold for a minute either as the double-sided tape is some powerful stuff, usually 3M.

Clean the area first with IPA or prepsol/prep-all to remove any silicone or wax.

You are the first person here who is asking how to *apply* dealer supplied decals. Most of us usually need to know how to *remove* them.
