Am looking for a gasoline compatible funnel with an angle spout (around 45 degrees) and an opening of 6-8 inches. The spout must be able to fit in a typical automotive fuel filler.

A google search turned up surprisingly few choices.

Found this one at Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Scribner-Plastics...uct_top?ie=UTF8
But it has a huge 14" opening. The manufacturer also makes a variety of 8" funnels, but strangely, none with an angle spout.

Also found a Lisle angle funnel, but it has a tiny 3.5" opening. Too slow when pouring gas out of a 5 gal container.

Anyone ever see a 6-8" funnel with an angle spout?
If not, that's OK, I'll just get the 14" funnel, even if the size is a little cumbersome.

NOT interested in a flexible spout, must be a solid spout.

Maybe you can cut down the 14" model so it's a little shorter? I found these on the Amazon UK site: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Angled-funnel-filter-colours-contamination/dp/B01M19CTB3

Also this from the UK: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Draper-Fuel-Oil-Petrol-Funnel-With-Detachable-Offset-Neck-Gauze-Filter-69674-/301920911080?hash=item464be37ee8:g:eek:9MAAOSwiylXBLeH

I think both are 2 or 3 piece funnels, so the detach-ability might be a nice bonus, or a pain to use.

This has some of the flexible ridges, but is close https://smile.amazon.com/LUBEQ-Plastic-F...s=offset+funnel

Pep-Boys sells a long plastic gray funnel with the narrow end small enough to fit in the fuel filler port of gasoline vehicles, and the large opening end with an extended lip on half of it that works well when the funnel is sitting at a 45 degree angle such as when the narrow end is inserted into a vehicles fueling hole. With 7 percent tax the cost of the funnel is $4.27

That first one looks good, but no dimensions are listed. Didn't see anything like it on Amazon USA.
The issue with flexible spouts on a funnel is that if you are pouring from a 5 gal gas can, you will need three arms, or a helper, to hold the funnel in position.

That's what I use. Buy it at Walmart for a few dollars….

I think the Hopkins #10712 might work better for me, pouring gas into a car.

from Amazon comments section:

This funnel is great if you want to add fuel to a car. It will stick into the gas filler tube on your vehicle and the way the lip is, you can easily pour from a 5 gallon container into the tank. I stockpile fuel for my generator in 5 gallon jugs and I like to refresh them from time to time by dumping the old fuel into my vehicle and refilling the jug with fresh fuel, so this funnel is just what the doctor ordered.

Why don't you get a magnet like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Strong-N52-Neodymium-Eyebolt-Circular-Rings-Magnet-25-x-30-mm-For-Salvage-/192108091343?hash=item2cba88d7cf:g:UMsAAOSw4CFYqB66

and tie the top of the funnel to it, and stick the magnet on your car? Cover the bare metal with electrical tape so it won't mar your paint.
