claims to be able to reduce coolant temps up to 15°C.

Some car enthusiast seem very satisfied and reported lower coolant temps via ODB2 readout.

What do you think about products like this?
Worth it?
How do they work?
According to the MSDS theres 2-AMINO-2-METHYLPROPANOL 10-20%, 2-AMINOETHANOL 1-10% inside, at least that's the hazardous stuff.

Of course it does. The wallet is significantly lighter after buying this stuff, so the car doesn't have as much weight to carry around and the engine doesn't work as hard.

Unless you're driving a race car, ordinary coolant works just fine. Do yourself a favor and don't be one of the nitwits that gets suckered into buying stuff like this.

Dunno about you, but I want my coolant to be hot. Hot coolant means it's absorbing heat from the engine. Cool coolant means it's not.

thanks, so I'll keep running what I'm running, Coolant water mix without any extra additives.

^boop! Does it say *how* it reduces coolant temp? Because reducing heat transfer to the coolant would be one really bad way to do it.
