It's Kirkland brand 2 ply. I use these rolls in the Frantz oil filter and fuel filter as well and they come out in similar condition. Very pleased with this system, but will see if it made a difference to the cleanliness of the fluid when I get the lab results back.

Here's an update to my remote filter and bypass system. Results are not what I expected, but being winter the transmission thermostat was closed most of the time and filters were stone cold, but now that Spring is here the trans filters are finally warming up as the thermostat is opening and flowing fluid through the filters. After I took this sample I decided to drop the pan and inspect the trans filter and pan for debris and was happy it was very clean. My next sample will be in 12 months and will reflect the 8 quarts of fluid replaced for the pan drop and main filter change. I put 6000 miles on this sample with 4 quarts added for the filters.
