Paste or liquid

If you can get access to Consumer Reports testing they show that there are differences in the saame brands paste vs. liquid.

I've always used Nu Finish liquid but now use Turtle Wax Ice in paste.

For many years according to Consumer Reports, when testing both Nu-Finish liquid & paste against their competition, the liquid out performed the paste to the surprise of many. Also the liquid ranked at the very top of the list. Now, it's still among the top performers in it's category but has been eclipsed by some newer, more advanced products however, I don't know how N-F rates in CR's latest test results nor do I know when CR last tested car polishes.

Earlier it was said in reviews by CR that the paste was more robust - but both paste & liquid need to be applied twice in 30 day increments to maximise performance . *Curious now which new polymer protectants have stolen the crown away from Nu Finish regarding results and longevity ?
