Is Quaker State synthetic a 10,000 oil?

If you were to run 10k,I would at least keep it top off and or change filter half way and top off. Might be wise to uoa too.

I've had QSUD in my vehicle (see signature) for just over 9000 miles and for 15 months. I did an oil change about a week ago and sent a sample to Blackstone. I will publish results as soon as I get it.

Note: Vehicle was driven once or twice a week for 35 mile R/T. and 3 time a week to get medical care for (about 18 mi. R/T). I had onelong distance (all freeway) trip of about 1200 miles.

Did you ever get the results back

Run it for around 7500 when o.l.m. goes off.

Is Quaker State Ultimate Durability 0w20 a 10,000 1 yr oil?

If the vehicle service and specs match the Quaker state ultimate durability for 10k miles then no doubt it is fine,

And I run several out to 10k
And I ran several oil changes with the oil in question and I no longer buy it. That said, give it a shot.

Some of the UOA’s posted lately says no to long drains
Shearing down seems to be a problem with QS

At over 6K miles my UOA said it still had some TBN life left but I wouldn't say 10K miles.

Doing mostly short trips is considered severe service. Going 10k OCI on a short-tripper es no bueno.
If you're going 8k per year then change it every year, at least. 7k would be better.
